VELVET II’S barking at unseen noises continues to reduce. Since she was doing well in her first pre-advanced sitter’s home, we decided to try a different sitter’s environment to see how she would do. So far, so good! Velvet has been doing a lovely job of settling into the new environment and has been rocking her obedience practice. She is an eager worker with great focus whether it is a shopping trip or a walk in the woods!

  • Skills being learned: Review of foundations and generalizing them to a new handler in a new environment
  • Recent field trips: Various with pre-advanced sitter
  • Possible behavior challenges: Barking/growling at unseen noises
  • Advanced training location: Burnaby
  • Potential career path: Assistance Dog

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Velvet!
