VESPER has continued to work on her skills and explore career options. When we had a very snowy week, she had a few snow days with Ashley and enjoyed practicing obedience and retrieve out in the snow! Because of her very tactile, empathic and affectionate personality, we have also started investigating a possible PTSD career for Vesper. We hope to be ready to run Vesper’s pre-placement testing in the near future.
- Skills being learned: Practice of skills so far with different handlers and strengthening default check in for various distractions.
- Recent field trips: Metrotown Mall, Trout Lake, Lougheed Mall, other field trips with Ashley and advanced training volunteers.
- Possible behavior challenges: Occasionally vocalizing when curious.
