VESPER is having a blast working on service skills. She is highly motivated by play and tug. Vesper is very energetic and has been using this energy trying out the skill β€œpull” where she will wear a special harness to help pull someone in a manual chair up an incline or across distances. She is small but mighty!

  • Skills being learned: β€œPull”, β€œbutton”, β€œtug”, β€œpush”, β€œopen the door”, introduction to retrieve.
  • Recent field trips: Central Park, Lougheed Mall, 6th and 6th New Westminster, Robert Burnaby Park.
  • Possible behavior challenges: High arousal around dogs, settling in public, sniffing, lunging for food on the floor.
  • Potential career path: Service, AFD or PTSD

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Vesper!
