VESPER is having a blast working on service skills. She is highly motivated by play and tug. Vesper is very energetic and has been using this energy trying out the skill βpullβ where she will wear a special harness to help pull someone in a manual chair up an incline or across distances. She is small but mighty!
- Skills being learned: βPullβ, βbuttonβ, βtugβ, βpushβ, βopen the doorβ, introduction to retrieve.
- Recent field trips: Central Park, Lougheed Mall, 6th and 6th New Westminster, Robert Burnaby Park.
- Possible behavior challenges: High arousal around dogs, settling in public, sniffing, lunging for food on the floor.
- Potential career path: Service, AFD or PTSD
