Spring is in the Air! Wilbur wrapped up his puppy swap early in the month and has been keeping busy all month. He’s been on many play dates with other PADS pups, where he not only gets to sniff and play, he also got to swim! We received the all clear from the vet and Wilbur dove right in first chance he got. Play dates are fun, for sure, but its also an opportunity to train. We’ve been working on recall when he’s playing with other dogs or generally doing something he loves. He’s getting good. At class, we’re working on locking in his ‘stand’, and short immediate one word recalls. We’re also working hard on loose leash walking with his flat collar – this is a hard transition from his Gentle Leader, but we’re making progress.
