WINNIE continues to grow in all her skills when next to a manual chair. We are focusing on getting a calm steady hold both when standing still and when walking while carrying simple items for her retrieve. Winnie helped out with a ‘Thank You’ video for PADS support YVR and had amazing focus on her skills with up close distractions of strangers and puppies. Ashley and her volunteer helpers have also been running all dogs through Ashley’s “obstacle courses” that have the dog practice default ‘leave its’, obedience, skills, walking on different surfaces, proprioception, and strengthening exercises. Winnie enjoyed some nice rest and relaxation with sitters over the holiday break and is keen to get working again in the new year!

- Recent field trips: 8 Rinks, Lougheed Mall, various additional training field trips.
