This month, Ashley decided the explore something new with WINNIE. Winnie has always loved to walk just a bit ahead of her handler and is eager to go, go, go, so Ashley decided to explore this quirk, which could be a special skill in disguise! Winnie began pulling work foundations, which requires her to pull a client in a manual chair on various surfaces and inclines. Winnie is a natural and is having a blast! She is also working on her skills and retrieve with her handler in a manual chair and is coming along nicely. Great work, Winnie!

  • Skills being learned: ‘Pull’, simple retrieves.
  • Recent field trips: Lougheed Mall, 8 Rinks, various other training field trips.
  • Possible behavior challenges: Pulling on leash, barking at the door.
  • Potential career path: Service

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Winnie!
