PNE Field Trip Registration

Register

Please register for one of the following upcoming field trips listed. Please note each night has two time slots and each time slot is limited to a maximum of 24 dogs (which will allow all of our puppies in training to participate). Once a slot is full, it will not allow additional registrations.

Before you arrive

When coming the PNE field trip, please bear in mind that this can be an  exciting and stressful destination for pups. Please come prepared with clean up kit, HIGH value treats, water/bowl and your enthusiasm. Please note you will need to get your own admission ticket to the fair (see the info in eBlast for discounted tickets), however you can keep this receipt to submit with your puppy-raising expenses at the end of the year.  Parking in the area is both limited and paid, so we highly recommend either taking transit or carpooling (and sharing the cost of parking).

When you arrive

Please meet the PADS staff and your group leader outside the Pacific Colosseum.  There will be small group leaders that will take a group of 4-5 dogs through a predetermined route of key elements we’d like to expose our dogs to (this includes but isn’t limited to the food fair, animatronic dinosaurs, barn & farm areas and midway).

During the field trip

Be mindful of your dog’s stress level, and if they aren’t coping well, feel free to withdraw to a quiet space between buildings to let them recover, or even head home — remember that socialization is POSITIVE exposure and experience.

After the field trip

If your pup found the field trip stressful, you may want to lay low with them for a few days with lots of opportunity for exercise and familiar environments and activities.  You can always come back later in the fair to work through any areas your pup may have found challenging.  Note that rainy days are great quieter PNE days for pups!
