At 4:30 this morning, June 7, 2017, I underwent an MRI. As I am extremely claustrophobic, this was torture for me. I was medicated prior to the test but was still panicking in the machine. The only way I got through the test was to envision the wonderful cuddles that my very special buddy, Damon, and I have shared during my volunteer hours in Advanced Kennel. Thank you, Damon!

Help Us Change Lives

All PADS assistance dogs are provided to clients at no cost. Behind each and every success story is a donor who makes this possible.

Tell us your PADS story

We are still accepting stories for our 30 Stories for 30 Years series. Whether you have volunteered, received a dog as a client or adopter, given of your time, money or heart… you are part of the PADS story!  Tell us how being involved with PADS has impacted you.
