Hello Everyone,
I’m Buzz from the PADS Bee Litter.
May was a big month for me, as I left my mom and siblings and travelled to the Okanagan to meet my puppy raisers. They will be the ones to guide me as I set off on my journey to hopefully one day become an Assistance Dog. I have a wonderful mentor in Released PADS Tiller and several feline family members that I am determined to love whether they want me to or not!
We’ve been taking it slow as we get to know each other. My first official outing was a trip to the garden center, which seemed appropriate for a little Buzzy Bee. We have also been to the grocery store and the mall. We only stayed a few minutes to make sure I was successful, but we definitely brightened a lot of people’s days.
One of mum’s favourite outings for little guys is lunch outside the dog park. This involved us sitting in the back of the car and watching other dogs play while enjoying lots of kibbles. It was very exciting, and I slept like a rock once we were done.
Now I’m off to a sitter for a few weeks!
