June was an exciting month!

Finch went to Belcarra for the first time and decided to try the water! Why was it salty? or was it sand on her fur? I still cannot tell.

Then, the other day, a few of the PADS pups in Surrey/Langley gathered in Marsh II’s backyard! The backyard is huge, and there were lots of different surfaces for the dogs to try.

Also, Finch went on a field trip to Gastown for the first time! She showed off her engagement with me until she was allowed to say hi to people with the “Go say hi” cue. I almost got her the Aesop doggy shampoo, but maybe next time…!

Oh and a success story here! Finch was not able to settle at church for the longest time as she wanted to play with beautiful young kids. But finally! She was able to settle in her little fenced area.

And then we practiced some settling at the dog park before we rushed in…. and oh my, Finch decided to jump in the mud puddle…. oh well. She got everyone laughing and saving their dogs from getting dirty.

Lastly, Finch tried the A&W dog patty, and it was WONDERFUL. With the help of the dog patty, Finch had the best manners at Guildford Mall. I wish A&W would do it again.

Then on June 15, Finch’s second heat came by so Finch mostly spent her time at home. She LOVES doing her doggy puzzles ALL at once. It gets her tired.

Finch had to spend some time with two different sitters while I was busy with other commitments. Thank you, sitters!
