Now 5 months and 35lbs., Tesla is losing her puppy rolls as she begins to fit into her loose puppy skin and develop long legs.
She is picking up on her skills and cues much quicker while loving all the kibble that comes with training. Tesla is becoming more comfortable strolling through public spaces (including a glass elevator ride) and showed her ability to focus when meandering the newly opened Thrifty’s Foods in White Rock while putting smiles on faces as walking by.
She is learning to settle at home and the workplace but does get excited around her dog friends. The PADS puppy class BBQ was a great opportunity for Tesla to practice those settling skills among all the other pups-in-training—not an easy ask for Tesla.
For some fun, pups at the BBQ were invited to create their own puppy Picasso lick or paw art project—enrichment for the pups, and the results were fabulous! Tesla continues to enjoy her off-leash trail walks and strolls on the beach and shows her appreciation by being the best at giving cuddles—she’s a real sweetheart.
