I got to spend the beginning of June with PADS Taj, and his hooman while I wait to find my own hooman. He introduced me to some new skills and showed me his favourite sniffy spots on trails. I was very lucky he was patient with my puppy antics. Since we had to share his hooman, Taj was nice enough to let me accompany him so I could go on some new outings.
My first trip was to Stong’s Market to pick up snacks for PADS grad! It was a short, 10-minute trip inside, but I did great staying engaged and not eating off the floor. Later in the week, I went on a trip to the ice rink where the hooman works. I did a great job settling on the bed and even fell asleep! My busiest adventure was attending the Hats Off Day Event in Burnaby. I only stayed for 30 minutes to not get too overly stimulated. Again, I did great settling on the bed and watched all the people and pups go by. I even got to meet the famous PADS Cleat!
An easier outing this month was a nice mall stroll with PADS Golly. Apparently, the North Shore PADS people like to walk around the mall and not buy anything. There were so many food stalls and pet items, but I didn’t end up getting anything; very disappointing!
To promote the wonderful work PADS does, I accompanied the hooman to an info session, showing off all my cuteness to try and recruit more hoomans! They got a real-life demonstration of the ups and downs of puppy raising. I am glad to say, that I have now found my hooman and you will hear from them in the next month’s pupdate!
