Towhee had some new experiences this month.
First, she got to go on an adventure with one of her raisers to Calgary on an airplane. After a bit of a rocky start, missing their plane due to traffic, they made it onto another flight, and Towhee travelled like a champ, as you can see from the pictures.
Next, she got to go on a not-as-exciting adventure to the ER at VGH with her other raiser, who cut her foot (all is well now). Towhee settled beautifully, provided much comfort to her raiser, and put smiles on many faces of other patients, nurses, doctors and paramedics. The amazing ER doctor was even a friend of another PADS raiser – small world. 🙂
