This month:
- walked in the neighborhood during a brief and not-so-loud July 1st fireworks (for counterconditioning); sniffing was reinforced
- visited her local off-leash dog area, played with a big dog from her neighborhood (helped him find his ball toy in the grass)
- walked around Lafarge Lake past people, dogs and birds; had a longer walk across a local park, swam in a river
- played cone and retrieving games; attempted “movement puzzles”
- visited a distant off-leash dog park, met a few naughty and nice dogs, swam in deep river, had a game of chase with a playmate able to run as fast as herself
- enjoyed swimming in Buntzen Lake (played with many different dogs on the off-leash dog beach)
- had a visitor in the house (worked on counterconditioning towards the sound of a doorbell and the visitor himself)
- had a meet-up with her sister Yoshi (watched horses from a trail, enjoyed playing in a river with other dogs)
- worked on not getting frustrated when her humans “idle”
- spent 2 happy hours with Taurus (and his forever family)
- found her own forever family, moved into her new home on July 21st and met a big cat there! (with whom she hopes to get along soon)
