Hi friends!

I started off the month by getting back into my routine after my little vacation at the end of June. I practiced lots of kennelling and also got to hang out with sitters on some days. I’m also getting good at knowing when mom is busy working and when she’s free to play with me. My settling and kennelling have gotten really good!

I had some fun adventures with puppy friends this month too! I met up with PADS Maeve, Beacon, Wrigley, Taj, Calvin, and Robbie at the beach, and we had soooo much fun running around and playing with toys. I even showed some of them how to swim for the first time! I’ve become a pro at swimming.

Another fun outing from this month was going to Build-A-Bear. Taj, Calvin, Digby, Norquay, Louise, and I met up for this adventure. We worked on our loose leash walking and engagement in the mall. Some of us then made stuffies! I got an axolotl. Sadly, mom has not let me destroy it, and she says I have to learn to be nice to my stuffies.

I have been to quite a few restaurants this month, and I’m a pro at settling under the table or chair while the humans eat. Even when there are many other pups there, I just take a nap and ignore them!

I also got to go to a BBQ event at PADS and saw lots of other pups, including my sister Lumina! We had lots of fun playing in the yard, especially in the pool. I also got dressed up in silly costumes so that the humans could take pictures of me.

At the end of July, mom brought me to watch the Celebration of Light fireworks! I was a super good boy for that and wasn’t scared of the loud noises and bright lights. I just watched the sky and ate lots of kibble.

I grew some more this month and passed the 60 lbs mark! I also got upgraded to a large-size puppy-in-training cape!

I’m excited to see what the last month of summer break brings! See you at the end of August for another pupdate.
