Where has this month gone?!?!?!
It seems like the summer is flying away, and we did have some very hot, slow days, but also…
I started off the month on Canada Day, meeting up with PADS Taj and heading to the shipyards where there were lots of people, smells and dogs to ignore, and I have to say I did let my goofy side come out a little.
The following week, we had a puppy party to beat the heat, and I had my first experience with a pool. My raiser did have to help me to start with by showing me it was super shallow, then I found my zoomies and kept running in and out of the water!
I went to this really strange place one day, my raiser brought my bed, and all the humans had these strange headphones, one which was playing music, and they all danced around it, it was called Zumba. The humans were raising money for PADS, how amazing is that?
My raiser would like to note that apparently, the weekdays are boring work days, so not much fun happens except I am really good in the office and like it when she says ‘go say hi’ and I get to have pets from people before going back to my raiser for treats – I do love my kibble.
Back to the fun weekends – I got to meet some of my siblings! There was Ole, Encore and Brava all at the Open Road Volleyball Tournament. As Ole and Encore were leaving, our Mum Pear appeared and we got to have a bit of a chaotic picture together.
As this is getting a little long, to round out the month, there were fireworks (from a distance), a BBQ, my first visit to the cinema, an outside cinema, the library, a trail walk with new friends and lots of bringing my raiser stuffies to play tug with!
