This month, Oliver learned how to alert when keys are dropped! He is also working hard on generalizing his alerts to all different environments and distinguishing between them all. We have also made it even more challenging by asking him to alert in high distraction areas such as dog parks and when visiting with people. He is such a smart boy! We spent the month focusing on some targeted field trips, such as transit and off-leash dog parks, where we could put all his hard work to the test. Oliver also enjoyed some extra time with his sitter this month while his trainer was away on vacation. He is doing really well generalizing his alerts and skills to different people, too!
