July has been a month filled with fun, relaxation and furrends! It started off with Canada Day celebrations on July 1st, where got dressed up and headed to the North Vancouver Shipyards for the festivities. There was amazing weather in July, which brought many beach days! Late in the month, I got to reconnect with my little PADS furrend Ivy, who stayed with us before she found her raiser. It’s safe to say we both really missed each other as we had snuggles by the beach. As my hooman has been off school, it has meant that I’ve had lots of time for sleepovers with my Campus Canine UBC besties! I got to sleep over at my half-brother Wrigley’s home, and we had the best time. We played and snuggled together, and in the morning, we joined PADS Casper for brunch! Our hoomans like bringing us along when they eat out, but they sadly don’t ever give us any of the delicious food, how rude. At the end of the month, PADS Casper was lucky enough to sleep at my home! I was so excited to show him my home and neighbourhood as he doesn’t get to come to my area often, as we live far away. Another visit I got to make this month was to see my Mama Louise and her hoomans, as I love them all so much!

Training is always more fun with furrends! I got to take PADS Casper to Build-A-Bear so he could make his own like I did, with his predecessor PADS Tio. Because I was such a good boy, my hooman got me a small cow to match my big cow. My hooman says that when I go to my client, she will send my big cow with me as I love it so much, and she will get to keep the small one. Later in the month, we got together with the North Shore gang and did a training walk at the mall. A lucky surprise for me was that PADS Tio was there! It’s always so special when we get to see each other because he doesn’t live near me anymore, and soon enough, he will be gone with his own client.

Even though it’s sunny and warm outside, my hoomans work (a.k.a the ice rink) is still very cold. Her students noticed that I was a little chilly one day and very graciously offered to bundle me up. They were not happy that my hooman forgot my jacket that day! I have had such a great month and can’t wait for the last month of summer before I go back to school with my hooman in September!
