August was holiday time for the human and me – we got to try out so many new things! My friend Indie showed me some top-secret swimming spots in the local area – I loved it! I am getting so good at it now; almost as good as Indie!

My next favourite thing we tried was paddleboarding – it was brilliant! I didn’t quite manage to get the human to fall in, but I got close a couple of times! In the end, I learned to lie down and watch the world float by, but only after I’d had some quick little swims next to the board.

We did some indoor stuff too, and visited a local care home a couple of times, but boy, was I excited!! I couldn’t get over all the smiling faces. We also went to Costco, Cafes, Malls, Grocery Stores, the vet, the Library, a local Museum, and the Cinema! When I went to the Museum, I did my best impression of a Lion (check it out below!), and at the cinema, I was a pretty good boy – but agreed with the human that the movie didn’t need to be that long!

To work on getting used to crowds, I took the SeaBus and Bus all the way to Granville Island and had a stroll around the market there. I also learnt how to patiently wait for my bus, as well as try to fit under the seats! For another crowded outing, Puzzle and I took the Humans to go and watch baseball! I learnt lots of people like to eat hotdogs and popcorn during the game – lucky human brought plenty of kibble for me instead!

Of course, throughout, I’ve been learning how to sit and settle in lots of different situations; one time, I even had to when there were kibbles on my paws! Luckily, I got to eat them after.

See you guys in September, as I’ll be going for a week’s stay with a sitter – I’ll have more stories for you then!
