Ahhhhh… Glorious summer!
As much as I would have LOVED to follow my raising family out to BC, I instead had the opportunity to hang out with my best buddy and PADS volunteer, Lesley. Let me tell you, she is a pro on the golf course, and she taught me all that I know. I spent my August riding golf carts, perfecting my ‘go in’ during post-game lunches and meeting a new batch of small humans (grandkids!).
Bonus – my raisers returned, just like they said they would, and brought me special West Coast dog treats. And because they were out on the West Coast for the wedding of another PADS volunteer, I guess that was okay, as PADS is really a wonderful group of people (and dogs!)!
Now I’m excited for back-to-school! I’ve missed my students!
