Hello All!
Finch’s first two weeks of August were spent with her lovely sitter, Linda & PADS Retired breeding dog, Izzie. When Finch got back to me, I could tell how much of a relaxing/exciting/ maturing time she spent with them!
The third week of August was Finchy adjusting to her lifestyle with me and meeting the Campus Canines puppies! PADS Finch met PADS Taj, Casper, Calvin, Ivy, and Robbie! Robbie is Finch’s grandfather, and it was very exciting for them to meet each other. Finch also spent some time with PADS Luigi, Dior, Poblano and Picard, which is her Surrey/Langley PADS family. 🙂 It looks like Finch now has a Campus Canines friend group and a Surrey/Langley friend group!
Then, in the last week of August, she moved to East Vancouver with me to get ready for school, going to orientation with me and learning how to settle in lectures. Finch now has to transit a one-hour bus ride with me to get to UBC, so, for the first few days, it was a struggle for Finch to overcome the reluctance to get on the bus. But I can proudly say, that she is now very comfortable onboarding the bus!
Finch is going on a huge transition this coming month with me going to UBC and living away from home, so please wish the best of luck to Finch. 🙂
