Over the past month, I’ve had the chance to explore different environments, which has been a good way to practice staying calm and focused. Summer is ending, and I’ve been getting used to being outside in various conditions. It’s been a valuable experience, helping me learn how to stay attentive no matter what’s happening around me.
I’ve also spent some time camping with my two-legged roommates, which has been a great test of my training. There have been plenty of distractions, like deer wandering nearby, but I’m getting better at ignoring them and staying on task. I’ve also started learning to paddleboard, which has been a new and interesting challenge. It’s important for me to remain steady and composed, even in unfamiliar situations.
This month, I’ve been working hard on my manners and learning how to interact appropriately with houseguests, and I’m getting better at ignoring unnecessary attention and focusing on my work.
