Sokka adjusted to our home very easily, and for a 7-month-old pup, is a rock star. Sokka can easily be taken anywhere and spent 10-hour days at the office with no problems, sleeping under the desk. There were times when people did not even know I had a dog with me. Sokka has a very calm personality, and it serves him well. He has only barked on two occasions, once the first time he saw a horse (only barking once), and barking when he first saw a cow (and only once).
Sokka spent the majority of August at the lake practicing loose leash walking and learning the other basic cues. He was a star at the community BBQ and impressed everyone there.
Sokka was on gastric puppy food when I got him because of diarrhea and he is doing well now with regular bowel movements. Unfortunately for me, the food is very tiny and difficult to work with, from a training perspective, but we are making do.
