September meant back to work for me. I paws-itively love school. I love saying ‘hi’ to my student friends each workday, and they love seeing me. I figure this is a win-win situation. September did mean some longer days in the classroom – something about back-to-school setup. Still, it has also meant great smells, leaves falling, the occasional apple to steal off the ground (Shhhh! Don’t tell!) and a busy household that keeps me entertained when I’m chillin’ on my bed. Which, I’m told I’m quite good at. I’ve come by being a very calm, chill dog quite naturally (as long as there are no other dog friends around) and I don’t react to doorbells, or people coming and going—A+ in that department.
I also managed an A+ in being an excellent patient this month, as I did take a quick trip to the hospital. Spay = check! No puppies for me… which has meant lots of opportunities for some quieter days, focussing on recovery and short training sessions. My raiser is doing her best to keep my daily ‘zoomie’ session off-limits for a couple of weeks while I heal. Wish her luck… she might need it.
Until next month!
