Picard showed off his cuteness while receiving a PADS check from OpenRoad with his good friend Marsh and then checked out being a tourist.
He visited the Surrey Museum, took a long bus ride and ferry to Victoria, and visited the famous, Empress hotel, checked out many shops and restaurants and introduced himself to the horses pulling the buggies. While checking out the Stonehenge exhibit at the Royal Victoria Museum, he also met a buffalo in the Imax theatre (he did enjoy the popcorn too) and throughout the rest of the museum, he met woolly mammoths and other strange creatures. We also bumped into PADS service dog Norquay at a big annual police memorial event, complete with bagpipe troops, flags, gunfire and lots and lots of uniforms and people around.
At the end of all those touristy things and being at the centre of attention because he was so cute and well-behaved, he REALLY enjoyed an afternoon at the oceanfront sniffing all things salty and enjoying the water lapping at his toes.
Iβd say it was a very fulfilling and exciting September.
