I closed off the end of summer with an epic trip on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We spent lots of time soaking up the sun, spending time in the forest, and relaxing on the beach. When I say relaxing, I really mean I tolerated the inevitable splash of water on my precious fur because I insisted on staying close to my human. One good thing about the beach is the abundance of sticks! The human was so impressed with me, that she forgot I was only 4 months old at the beginning of the month.
Ever since the nice break from reality and the summer fun, the human has been putting me through the paces of all things settling. Between lectures and labs, which btw does not mean puppy friends, (it was disappointing to find that out!), I have become a pro at settling and getting a glimpse of working life. I’ve even heard a couple of “I didn’t even know there was a dog here” comments.
As the fall season is here, the human says this is our new routine and she also said my own puppy classes are back in full swing, so there is lots of learning to be done!
