This month, I’ve been settling into my new home at UBC, which officially makes me a UBC Campus Canine! I’ve got a doggie housemate, PADS release dog Marvel, who is keeping me company and I’ve also met the other Campus Canine dogs at my weekly class. Part of my new routine is to go to orchestra practice once a week, which can be very loud at times, but I aced it! I have a special UBC sitter now – a student who wanted to raise me but was only able to keep me for a short while, as we ran into an issue that couldn’t be solved. I still really like to see him!
My new raiser is impressed with how well I can walk nicely on my leash (but we will still do lots of practice with this) and we are also working on daytime kenneling. I’m going back to my first raiser for 12 days so it will be nice to see my old family again! After this, I’ll be settling into my UBC home for good.
