This month, my raiser took me downtown to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver where I was part of the CKNW Kids Fund day! We were up on the stage with the broadcaster while they talked about all the good things PADS does, and I behaved so well, I lay down quietly the whole time even though there was a choir singing, phones ringing, and so much going on. I even met Santa after!

I’ve been doing lots of mall walks with my PADS friends since it’s been so rainy out, and there are lots of Christmas decorations already, and lots of people starting their Christmas shopping. My raiser says I do really well focusing on her even though it’s so crowded, and we go into lots of stores for practice. We always make sure to go for coffee or a snack afterward so I can practice settling under the chair for a while too.

The best part of all the rain is the mud it makes on the trails! My raiser always makes sure that my training is balanced out with some fun on the trails where I can run and get muddy and be a puppy! My raiser says we still are practicing all my skills, like my recall which she says is excellent, but I say I’m just having so much fun with my PADS friends!
