This month, Morley continues to be the best boy! He patiently welcomed a couple of different PADS dogs into the house, including PADS Sesame and PADS Bromley, who came with some sharp puppy teeth. Morley is content to let Shah handle the puppy while he waits for attention and/or food.
Puppy classes started again this month, and Morley was a bit over-exuberant in this setting but has been improving over the past couple of weeks. We are working to calm him when working as he tends to leap between a heel and a sit rather than moving smoothly. He continues to practice moving around a stationary wheelchair and retrieving various items. We continue to brush up on position changes and various cues without eye contact. Morley is learning that he doesn’t have to sneak in front to lock eyes with his handler.
