Well- November was nice. Did lots of outings. Went to a restaurant, and I sat under the table really nicely, and then Perry was talking to me about something, and I pretended I didn’t understand him, and he got mad b/c he goes, β€œI just can’t get through to her!!?? Is it me, or is she stupid??…and when he looked away, I laughed and laughed! …I’M not stupid…PERRY.

Went back to a couple of pools – It’s easy to rest there and just people-watch. Interestingly, …they all walk around mostly with just their fur on – makes me feel less naked all the time, so it’s good to have them be one of me.

I got to hang out with Mara. So fun, we are such good friends. We were to have a walk together on what turned out to be the day before she moved away. S’all right, we had a great party with three others of her pack the week before – I don’t think I’ll forget her b/c I still smell her all over the place here, and I’ve not covered all of it with my own stink yet….getting there …have to remember to keep hydrated. Going to touch base with Marvelous after Christmas to see if she wants to go out. She’s so cool. So excited for her, sounds like she’s got a fantastic new family.

I got to stay over at Tator’s house, he is really good at playing with me – he tells me when to take a rest.

Oh- on the way to the doctor, I saw this fantastic-looking other dog! (Again) I saw her before at the house and that first time I met her I barked – and she barked too at the same time! She’s fabulous, she speaks my language, we have a real connection, and similar values, likes nose kisses and long walks on the beach. I love looking at her- I just stare in her lipid pools of those brown puppy dog eyes.

Chuck still calls me a β€œcontender”. I think that means she thinks I have a good chance at getting a job when I grow up …she says, then, I can buy my β€˜own damn kibble’. β€˜ Earn your keep, blah, blah – β€˜get a job, cut your hair, move out of my basement…’ If you don’t believe me ask Ryder- I was sitting right next to him when she told me …jeesh …I’m just 14 weeks old. I don’t even drive yet, and I spend almost NO time in her basement.
Looking forward to December- I hear it’s really fun, full of friendship and festivities …every day a dog’s afternoon.

I’ll tell you all about it next pupdate.
