This month was one of my busiest of the year. I did a lot and also went to a lot of places. I went to be with a nice lady whose PADS puppy just moved on, so we spent a few hours together.
PADS had a Christmas/Holiday party that I went to with my raisers. It was a lot of fun because I met so many other dogs. My mom was there too, and I met my half-brother, Bentley. We had our pictures taken together. Also met some special dogs with special jobs, like Norquay.
Our little town had a little parade of work trucks & buses all done up with Christmas lights & decorations. That was pretty cool, and even the honking, sirens & other truck noises didnβt bother me. I think the cement truck was the best. We stopped in at a bakery on the way home so mom could buy some human treats. Then later we went to Christmas on Rae Street to see the big holiday display. There were so many people there. But thatβs not the only place where there were a lot of people. A bunch of us went to Lights at LaFarge & walked around there too. I heard that I was very good at these places. But it did not stop there. I was given a few days to rest before we were off the Noel to see the Christmas stuff there. I got to visit & have my picture taken with The Grinch, Santa, a large Nutcracker & even a Gingerbread couple. The lights were really cool too. There were a lot of pictures taken of me at this place.
My favourite sitter lady, Agnes, wanted to see me again before the end of the year, so I got to stay with her overnight while my raisers went to a Christmas party. But I did get to spend Christmas Eve dinner with my friend who I see sometimes. Sheβs not a PADS dog, but sheβs nice. Yes, lots of people there too.
We even went to another bakery where my raisers bought lots of goodies. Oh, that place smelled so good. Then, on the last night of this month, I went with my raisers to the Coquitlam Legion. I even heard bagpipes for the first time. Didnβt bother me as I was resting under the table. Everyone there was so nice, and some wanted to pet me. But I was good about it. Well, that about sums up my busy month. Time to relax a bit now.
