Crumpet is currently focusing on the following training activities: basic cues, durations for sit, down, and stand commands, and proofing for these commands. Other focus areas include managing dog distractions, meet-and-greets, and practicing ground sniffing with scheduled sniff breaks. Overall, Crumpet’s duration skills are improving, and there has been progress in dog distractions.
Field trips included visits to a doctor’s office, Canadian Tire, supermarkets, meetings with 15+ people, the mall, an open house, and Home Depot.
