Hi there, it’s me againβSkaha III. This is my second monthly update, and let me tell you, being four months old (as of January 25) is a pretty big deal. I’m practically a grown-up nowβ¦ well, almost.
January was a busy month, and I kicked it off by celebrating New Year’s for the first time. That means I’ve officially lived for two calendar years. Impressive, right? My puppy teeth have started falling out, making room for my brand-new, dazzling adult teeth, and the tooth fairy showed up with some crunchy treats to keep my new ones clean and healthy.Β Β Β
I’ve mastered the art of going up and down stairs; no more hesitation, just full confidence.Β I’ve also learned some cool new commands like “Go In” and “Jump On,” and at the park, I’ve been testing out different textured surfaces, and if there’s something to perch on, you bet I’m on it.
I’ve been quite the social butterfly, too. I went shopping at the Mall, Costco, Indigo, and Walmart, making sure to turn heads with my impeccable manners. I also had to go to the vet for my vaccinations to help ensure that I stayed healthy.Β Oh, and I had my first shower and bath this month. You know what? I loved both. Who knew being clean could be so much fun?
Puppy class was another highlight of the month. I got to reunite with my fellow PADS pups from the Okanagan, learn new skills, and, of course, compare notes on who’s growing the fastest. Speaking of growingβ¦ I’m already over 30 pounds.Β With my size upgrade came a move into a bigger kennel, and my raisers made sure it felt like home by making me a cozy new blanket and pillow. Now I’ve got the comfiest PADS pad around.
