Hi Everybody,

Well, January was really slow: no warm baking smells, no lights, no big guy in a red suit and no more presents for me.

It’s been pretty mild here in the Okanagan, so my people have been taking me out twice a day for recall practice. That means they stand way far away from me and call “Digger Here”. I have to run straight to them and sit in front of them, and then I get paid with a kibble or sometimes a piece of apple. I never know which, but I really, really like apple. They make me go back and forth 10 times at least, and twice a day. It’s a long way, bout 130 feet, so I get tired out before we go in to do other practice. I’m getting good at heel and side, so they’re pretty proud of me. Then, I get to snooze in the sunshine. I also like to chew on my Benebone, but I work so hard that it gets all rough and hurts my gums, so my people sand it down for me so it’s nice and smooth, and then we do it all again. They say I am a really hard chewer.

Cause it’s such a slow time in January, I got a bath and a pedicure, and now I smell nice and don’t click on the tile. They say I am very cuddly.

Guess that’s all for now, but my peeps say really cold weather is coming, so I’ll let you know how I manage.
