Gadget arrived at her new home partway through January, and she adapted right away to her new surroundings. She seemed delighted to find other dogs in the house. One of the pictures shows Gadget and McLean (released from the PADS Canucks litter many years ago) sharing a bed. Another picture shows what happened when Gadget got a bit too curious about the good smells inside an empty dog food bag.
Gadget loves to put on her cape and leash and head out on an adventure. So far, she has been to a long-term care home, a restaurant, a coffee shop, a hockey game, and a puppy class.
Gadget had a great time experiencing snow for the first time, and she and her new buddy Timon spent hours chasing each other and sliding out on the corners.
For her training, we are working on loose leash walking, chin, touch and target.
