What an exciting month! Fresh off of her adventures at the Invictus Games, Ms. Burgie was inspired to try some winter sports of her own! She had a great time on the dog-friendly ski trails in Whistler, won hearts at a Whitecaps game, and practiced her settling skills at Silent Movie nights at the Orpheum Theatre. While settling for long periods is still a struggle for her, she has learned to do a nice “go-in” when her mat is put down, and will happily focus on her frozen Kong. Her confidence in new environments is growing all the time, and we are looking forward to some new experiences as she spends time with a sitter next month.
