This month, I had some more challenging adventures and longer days that really put my skills to the test! At the beginning of May, I had a busy weekend attending my raiser’s choir concert, then on the next day, going downtown for a couple of hours at the Outdoor Show, and then another choir concert in a church. I was a bit distracted at the Outdoor Show, as I was at a booth, and lots of people kept coming up to ask about me. But at the choir concert, I was able to relax and enjoy the music.

My raisers also had some friends visiting from out of town, so I got to experience sharing my home with two new people. I loved greeting our guests every morning (sometimes with face licks)! I went to a couple of restaurants with them, and another sound bath.

One of the highlights of my month was getting to go for an off-leash walk with my PADS friend Puzzle, who I was raised with from weeks 8-12 of my young life. We got to rush through the forest together! I had never drunk from the puddles before, but tried it out after seeing Puzzle doing it… I didn’t quite get the appeal, and don’t think that I’ll keep it up.

Finally, a really good challenge in March was going to Metrotown with my raisers. There are so many people there and so many smells and things to ignore! It was definitely a packed month, but I’m getting more and more confident and resilient in different situations.
