We drove to Sedona, AZ, in March, and stayed until the first week of April. Rimbey enjoyed the road trip–three days of driving and 2 days in different hotels. On our last day, we drove through Kanab, Utah, where we discovered Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the US. Rimbey enjoyed their lovely dog park and its “Stick Libraries”.
Rimbey loved her first visit to Sedona in the summer of 2024. She recognized our vacation place and was happy with the familiar surroundings. Emerging from her second heat cycle, her energy level was back to normal. She could fully enjoy her favourite pastime in Sedona: exploring Sedona’s red rock hiking trails with Ron. There are many dog lovers in Sedona, so Rimbey was constantly lavished with attention and admiration.
On our way home from Sedona, we toured the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Rimbey had to stay in our car, so we drove behind the tour bus. Rimbey was able to see various animals from the window. She was especially fascinated by the pot-bellied pigs.
