The weather has been improving, which means lots more sunny walks. This month, we have focused on teaching Patty to check in more often and rewarding her handsomely. So far, we have seen some improvements there with more frequent check-ins and staying by our side (until she sees a dog, or a person, or a particularly tempting stick or patch of grass, or…). She still gets very excited when she sees other dogs but is getting quicker at recovering her composure.
Around the house, she has gained more freedom with areas open to explore, and she generally has great house manners. She is also spending a lot of time sleeping in various corners/the hallway and watching the cars and people go by from the balcony.
