Rimbey was scheduled for spay surgery on April 29. In the weeks prior to surgery, we purchased onesies as well as a ramp for climbing instead of jumping into the car. Rimbey was cautious walking on the ramp but quickly learned to trust it. She took to the onesie immediately and was proud to wear it on her walks. She did not want it removed at night.
The surgery went smoothly, and Rimbey seemed very comfortable with the vet. A couple of days later, Ron had minor eye surgery. Rimbey had a new experience of waiting for hours in the hospital emergency. She enjoyed the attention and admiration from other patients and hospital staff.
Rimbey will be moving into Advanced Training on May 20.
