Sarge celebrated his first full month of puppy raising by going on a couple of field trips, learning the core foundational skills and how to settle around other dogs.
He is proving himself to be quite the clever guy who loves learning new skills. Of everything that he has learned, perch may be his favourite! If he comes within 5 feet of a perch pot, he is bounding off to put his front feet on this. We are now working on containing this enthusiasm and waiting until he is asked.
Sarge went on a couple of field trips this month, including to the City of Calgary 911 Dispatch and Graham Construction. He was a big hit at both, but needed some convincing that people who don’t have food are just as fun as I am!
