It was a really full month!
I started out by getting some growing pains again. I really don’t recommend it. However, my humans made sure that I got lots and lots of rest to help me heal up quickly. To keep me busy, I got to help with laundry. I was really good at sorting by sniffiness!
I didn’t really like not being able to play tug, but I made it through like a Big Dog.
Once I started to get better, my humans eased me back into training by exercising my mind first and took me to see some fine art. That Emily Carr human seems really good!
When I was finally given the ‘all clear’ I got to explore everywhere … even The Peak of Vancouver. There were some great views up and down the mountain.
But I may have gotten a bit stir-crazy during my rest because I wanted to smell ALL-THE-THINGS, ALL THE TIME. So my humans have been focusing on leash pressure to let me know when I go too far. But I think they understand and have been taking me on some pretty neat hikes! Just check out the views in the last photo.
It really makes one contemplate the important choices in life – chew, then nap? Nap then chew? Sit or lie down?
