Hi, everybody! Itβs Allen, aka Adventure Dog, here. Boy, did I have an interesting and fun-filled month!
For two weeks of it, I went to stay with another mom. Her name is Gwen, and she was really nice. I had some problems with my innards, but she took great care of me and got me some special food that made me better. When I came back home to my usual moms, I was really happy to see them, and all of my toys were right where Iβd left them. So, I just picked up where I left off!
One day, my moms took me on a special adventure: we went on the bus, then the Skytrain, then on a little boat, and then to a place called Granville Island, where we all went to a show called West Side Story. It had a lot of humans dancing and singing, some loud whistles, and one really loud bang toward the end. But I didnβt even flinch! I was a very good boy and slept through most of it. It was fun, though I donβt really know what it was all about!
I also got to go on another adventure: we all went to Manning Park to do something called camping. My moms have a little house on wheels that we took with us and stayed in while we were out in the woods. I had my own bed, and was very comfy. We went on some hikes, and I even put my paws in a lake! At first, I was kinda scared, but my moms put some treats in the water, and I went bobbing for them. Next thing I knew, I was in the waterβand it wasnβt scary at all! In fact, it felt good, and I canβt wait to go back in the water again.
