Libby is now 6 months and 37lbs. During the first part of the month, Libby experienced life with other raisers during a 2-week puppy swap with her class cohorts—in which she did well, learning to settle in a new environment.
Once back with the usual raisers, Libby had an action-packed couple of weeks. She had meet-ups with her siblings for a playdate, first Daisy, then Meadow II. She joined in as a spectator to watch several baseball games, which she mainly slept through. Libby met AFD mentor PADS Iris, who was lots of fun to romp around with. Then Libby was off to Calgary for her first road trip as the raisers were going to the PADS 2024 Grad event. Libby loves car rides and did wonderful in new surroundings, slept well in hotels and settled perfectly in all the rest stops. Such a good girl!
Libby finished the month volunteering at the PADS Burnaby Shred event—although it was a rainy day, it was well attended, and Libby worked hard at dog distraction practice—which can be a challenge sometimes because other pups are so much fun!
