PADS Groot has had an amazing couple of months! He’s soaked up tons of cuddles, enjoyed scenic trail walks, and even spent a few days with the Advanced Crew. During that time, he practiced settling and staying calm while his main handler worked with other dogs — and he absolutely nailed it!
Over the past two months, Groot has really started to mature and embrace his role as a “big boy.” He’s made great progress with loose leash walking, shown impressive impulse control (even when passing a particularly tempting stick), and his dog distraction is now virtually non-existent. Every one of his sitters has raved about how calm and composed he is when walking past other dogs.
