It’s summer, and the sunny weather means we’re getting out and finding swimming holes and festivals and practicing all my skills in the real world!
All the beautiful sunshine and hot weather mean we’re finding lots of shady trails and swimming holes to stay cool. I’m not a very good swimmer yet, I don’t like to go very deep, but I love splashing around with my buddies, and if there’s a log to balance on or jump on, that’s my best! And my off-leash recall is getting so strong from all the practice, even with other dogs around. My raiser is so proud of my progress!
We’ve also been going to community festivals, like Lynn Valley Days and practicing being nice and calm, with lots of distractions like food and kids around. I’m pretty calm for still being under one!
My favourite outing had to be our road trip out to Langley to the nurseries, they’re very dog friendly, but I couldn’t figure out why my new friend didn’t want to say hi….
