This month, I spent 5 days with a sitter as my raiser was taking a holiday that was not dog-friendly. While there, I had a lot of fun with my doggie friend, Finch, who was willing to share her bed and chew toys with me!
I got to go to both of the PADS volunteer BBQs – once with my raiser, and then again while with the sitter – the second time I got to see one of my brothers!
I did a trip to Ucluelet with my raiser and family. I wasn’t too happy about the long car ride, but it was so interesting to be in the new place with all the new smells, and we even saw a bear – not once but three times! I’m not quite sure how I feel about bears, but everyone else wanted to keep their distance, which was okay with me.
Next month is going to bring a big change – I will be off to ‘Advance Training’ – so it will be time to say goodbye to my family, but it is exciting that I’ll be learning new things, and one step closer to being a service dog!
