Hi everyone!
For the first half of July, I was still in Calgary soaking up the prairies, the sunshine, and the crazy weather! One minute it was pouring rain, the next it was a full-on thunderstorm with the whole house shaking. But me? Totally unbothered. I took it all in stride like the calm, confident girl I am.
I even went to a pottery class with my raiser, and everyone there was so impressed by how well-behaved I was. Soon after, we made the 10-hour drive back to Vancouver, and once again, I was the perfect passenger—napping and chewing my benebone the whole way.
Back in Vancouver, I got to reunite with my best friend, PADS Ivy II! It felt so good to be home. I jumped right back into my city routine, accompanying my raiser to Costco, shops, grocery stores, and more. We watched the sunset together in Steveston, and for my raiser’s birthday, I had a huge day out—strolling the Quay in North Vancouver, joining her for lunch with a friend, and then spending the afternoon at the beach with Ivy. We got soaked and had the best time!
I also went hiking with my raiser and, of course, was the bestest girl. The grand finale of the month was a 6-hour hangout at a cidery in Langley with Ivy, her raiser, and my raiser. We were the ultimate good girl squad, charming everyone around us.
July was full of adventures, bestie time, and proving once again that I’m growing into a calm, confident, and adaptable assistance dog in training.
