Hi Y’all!
August was just the m-o-s-t exciting month for me. It started out with a bath and a pedicure cause my peeps told me I had to be bootiful, but aren’t I always?
Anyhow, I gots to go on a Puppy Swap with Lady and Guy, and I had just the most fun ever. Everything was new and amazing! In the meantime, my peeps got to host my half-sis, PADS Vaseux, and I said she could play with all the house toys even tho I don’t gets them cause I have a history of chewing them to bits. She said I could use her Instagram! What is that??
So Lady and Guy have this great yard, and my sis and I had a playdate when I arrived. Then I saw a thingy inside which wasn’t like me but kinda snuck around the house. They said it was Sly, the cat. Never seen a cat before, but Guy taught me not to bark at it. I sniffed at her, and sometimes she was ok, but sometimes she booped me in the nose with her paw.
Outside is some stuff growing up high, behind a little wire fence, I guess to keep puppies out, but I helped myself to a pretty red thing that tasted really good. They called it a strawberry. And I got kongs and cuddles and lots and lots of love. Plus, I went to visit a fruit market and helped Lady put peaches in jars. And I got to ride a tractor thing. I had the best time ever.
Meanwhile, my peeps were enjoying my lil sis cause they said she was such a very good girl (way better than me when I was little), but also lots of fun and really goofy. She taught them to play tug and make kongs which she could run around our yard with, before she ate em. She would also take her Wubba on the yard tour, whipping him around so he could see it from every angle. And they taught her my job, which is how to cheat, er, help at golf.
All in all, it was a wonderful time for all of us. I really love my peeps, but I also really loved Lady and Guy. When they brought me home, sis and I played bitey face and had a pool party!
I’m sorry for such a long story, but there was so much to tell you about. I’ll let you know what happens next month, but it would be hard to top my Pup Swap.
