Hi folks!
August was filled with more new things!
I went to the Farmers Market for the first time, and it was busy! I tried to resist the smells on the floor and around me and focus on my raiser. She said I did great.
We went on a hike where I got to explore the riverbed and dip my feet in the water. We went on some different walks in nearby parks. My hooman brother was back in the arenas for hockey, so I showed my support with my new hockey stick chew bone. I helped shop for new skates and went to the dentist’s office for support – well, really I just charmed the ladies at the front desk, but that was still helpful.
We continue to work on my loose leash walking. I am trying my best not to focus on other dogs when we approach, but that is still a work in progress for me. I’m working on heel and side with a lure and working on duration when I’m on my bed, and my raiser leaves the room for a few minutes (I really feel that I need to keep track of her all the time!).
Have a good month!
